Bank of Chapin, 108 Beaufort Street, built in 1907 by John W. Fry Construction Company, using brick made locally by C. P. Robinson. After the bank failed in 1931,the building stood vacant for years. Later served as a furniture storage area, a television repair shop, a tearoom, and is currently home to Judy B. Jarrett's ArtCan Studio.
